Faculty Legacy Fund Awards
The CSU Dominguez Hills Emeritus Faculty Association (EFA) continues the Faculty Legacy Fund Awards, an on-campus professional development grant program. The awards have been created to provide financial assistance to current tenure-track and tenured faculty members to encourage and support their professional development in the areas of teaching, research and creative activity. Awards are open to all tenure-track and tenured faculty, however, preference will be given to non-tenured, tenure-track faculty.
The EFA expects to have approximately $5,000 to allocate this year. Requests may be submitted for the entire amount or part of it. The EFA Executive Committee may grant one large award or several smaller ones.
The deadline for submitting proposals is Thursday, March 14, 2013. The grant application is attached. The grants are for the 2013-2014 academic year. Announcement of the recipients of the awards will be made near the end of April. The awardees will be honored at the EFA Spring Luncheon in May.
I strongly encourage you to apply. If you have any questions about the Faculty Legacy Fund Awards, feel free to contact Dr. Diane Henschel, EFA President at dhenschel@csudh.edu.
